The FCA have been switching firms from their current GABRIEL platform to a new platform called RegData.
The FCA called for input and feedback on GABRIEL and how it could be improved and have created the RegData platform with the aim of making it simpler, quicker and easier for firms to provide regulatory data to the FCA.
Many firms have received communication from the FCA with dates for the switch over from GABRIEL to RegData. It can seem like a daunting process using the FCA portals so we have written up some simple instructions to help you navigate the switch over.
What you need to do?
- The first thing to check is that you have an active Connect logon, passwords and passcode in place. (If you haven’t, then don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to find out what you need to do).
- When your Firm logs on to GABRIEL you will be diverted to a Connect logon page which is part of the process for linking the portals ready for RegData.
- Once you have completed the Connect screen, you will be taken back to GABRIEL and the portals have been synchronised.
- Once the migration has taken place, the only active logon will be the one used for Connect.
